We’re sending out a special welcome to those who joined us at the Ouachita Bigfoot Festival in Mena, Arkansas as well as those who joined at Sumiton, Alabama.

Events

Jack LaFountain and Robert Borders represented House of Honor Books at the Sumiton Book Fest on October 14th. The event was hosted by Booked on Main in Sumiton, Alabama and both authors had a great time signing books for their readers and meeting new people.

T.S. Burns and Jack LaFountain will be appearing in Crossville, Tennessee on October 21st. This is House of Honor Books second time at the Upper Cumberland Bigfoot Festival. The authors will be signing copies of their Bigfoot stories. All the books offered by House of Honor Books will be available including our audiobooks. NaNoWriMo

Last year Judy Snyder and Jack LaFountain successfully completed the National Novel Writing Month challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in the thirty days of November. Judy’s effort last year resulted in her book Widow’s Dance that is coming from House of Honor Books soon. Jack’s book Zion was crafted during the 2022 contest. He is planning on writing the next book in the Mann of God series during the contest this November. Welcome | NaNoWriMo

Rick Shaw’s new book Can’t Go Home is getting ready for launch sometime in November. Now on Audible

After a couple of false starts, the latest Ed Landry novel is now available on Audible. Cynthia Bickford, as the voice of Jazz, has taken over the narration of the series. Edgy, tough yet sweetly Southern, her work as Jazz puts listeners in the story and holds them there.

The audio versions of The Beasts of the Boogie Woods by T. S. Burns and Jack LaFountain’s Death Stalks the Red River are in production and will be available in early November.

On the Air

Jack LaFountain’s interview on Liz Ballard Writes aired on October 3rd. The conversation centered on creating, writing, and interacting with the fictional characters that appear in Jack’s books.
