We live in a world where glitter and rhinestones have replaced many moral values. Can we still believe in the principles of family, work well done, sincere friendships, spirituality...? Simple words, which have unfortunately become great challenges, not to mention swear words….
Knowing when to say no is essential in any journey. I said no to a great offer. Not for lack of desire, because money remains the crux of the matter, moreover the project was even interesting. But that didn't match my values.
We often say that being self-employed means being free, so yes, I am free. But I think that freedom is not in what we do but in what we embody. In my humble opinion, this incarnation draws its strength from being in tune with what “incarnate” means for each of us.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Martin Luther King
I simply said no, almost with regret without lying, but if my freedom leads me to be chained what is the point of being free? My values and my principles are the guarantees, the keys and the melodies of this freedom.
I said no to a great offer but I kept my values. I have 3 principes in my life:
- My spirituality (Biblical principles and values)
- My health
- My physical and emotional integrity
If I see that there’s a risk of affecting one of these 3 areas, I will move on, without dwelling on the subject. Because the most precious thing I have, and I know it, is to have the privilege of sleeping well. Because I am in tune with my principles and my values. Peace of heart and peace of mind are priceless.
Nothing is easy in life but finding meaning in what we do is an inestimable treasure and meaning only has meaning when meaning takes on its full meaning in what we are and in its incarnation. through what we do.
What am I real proud about ? It's being who I am without lying to myself about who I am.
“Happiness is the key and freedom is the melody”
