Meet Carey McKinney

Hey everyone, this is Carey McKinney coming from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. I really love to share my love of Jesus with everyone, but more importantly, His love for each one of us.

When I was young, I loved to read fiction and doing so, felt drawn to writing myself. I wrote a few short stories before my first book A Dose of Light in a World of Darkness was published. Those stories have disappeared through the years, and probably for good reasons.

My life changed one night when I was at the darkest point of my life. My momma’s prayers were answered as Jesus drew me closer to Him. Three days later, I met my wife-to-be, and on our second date, I gave my life to Jesus. What a difference it made. I felt the Holy Spirit rush through me like a powerful river and knocking down every wall I had built around my heart. It was the first time I felt true love.

Since then, I have been doing my best to share His wonderful news with everyone. He is our Savior, our Rock, and our Strong Tower in times of need. He is the author and finisher of our Faith, our Hope, and He is Love. Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you.
